Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) scientists from the Molecular & Translational Allergology group participated in the Allergy Family Day organized by the Luxembourg Allergy Network (LAN).

LAN is a non-profit patient organization, aiming to support patients with allergic diseases, especially young children with severe food allergies, and their families.

The Allergy Family Day was organized as a Luxembourg event during the World Allergy Week, which took place the last week of June 2024. During this event, group leaders Dr Annette Kuehn and Dr Christiane Hilger presented their research activities, their collaborations with clinics including ongoing clinical trials, as well as latest research on allergy diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The participation of the LIH at this event was a great success. The patients´ families were delighted to learn about allergy research efforts in Luxembourg, opening new perspectives and hoping for the development of novel translational solutions for their children.
