Johannes singled out as a 2021 NYAS *Rising Star* in Cancer Metabolism

Congratulations to Johannes who has recently been singled out as a 2021 New York Academy of Sciences *Rising Star* in Cancer Metabolism! Thus, he will present our research at the webinar Rising Stars of Cancer Metabolism and Signaling on April 23, 2021. The 2021 symposium on Cancer Metabolism & Signaling at the New York Academy of Sciences is devoted to rising stars in the field of cancer metabolism research. The meeting will be held virtually and will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Craig Thompson, President and CEO of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as well as networking and career development sessions. During the networking session, Johannes will host a “breakout” room that trainees can attend to discuss training opportunities and hear more about our science.
