research departments
LIH’s activities are organised around three central research departments, namely the Department of Cancer Research (DOCR), the Department of Infection and Immunity (DII) and the Department of Precision Health (DoPH), with their numerous associated research groups and technological platforms, employing over 200 scientists with complementary expertise in cell and molecular biology, bioinformatics, statistics, clinical research and epidemiology.
The activities of each department are transversally interconnected into a seamless “bed to bench to bed” workflow, ensuring that the knowledge generated by one is integrated into the work of the other in a truly transversal manner.
