Parkinson’s Disease
Leveraging the expertise gained through the FNR-funded National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson’s Disease (NCER-PD), and in collaboration with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), LIH investigates the role of the immune system in the pathogenesis and progression of neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s Disease.

Covid-19 – Infectious Diseases
LIH has been collaborating closely with the Health Directorate of the Luxembourg Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and all national players in the healthcare and public research ecosystem in order to mobilise knowledge, human and material resources to help contain the current COVID-19 pandemic.
