Trainee in Human Resources


We are looking for a motivated and dynamic HR Master student for a 4/6-month internship to support the Human Resources unit in its missions, projects and day-to-day activities.

Our HR team plays a crucial role in enhancing employee experience, and we are looking for a motivated trainee to support Learning & Development unit onboarding communication and wellbeing initiatives while assisting in administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and e-learning programs, and in responding to employees’ queries in that area;
  • Coordinate the creation of a welcome booklet to onboard newcomers;
  • Get familiar with our HRIS to support the maintenance and updating of employee training path and records in the system;
  • Assist in data entry, reporting, and ensuring data accuracy for HR analytics;
  • Contribute to the improvement of HRIS processes and documentation for end-users;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of wellbeing programs for employees;
  • Assist with various administrative tasks linked to training courses organisation;
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate for a trainee at LIH, based also on trainee’s academic background and motivation. 

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Master 2 (or equivalent) in Human Resources;
  • Strong interest in well-being and workplace culture;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Appetite for HR related IT tools (knowledge of Mpleo is a plus);
  • Proficiency in MS Office; basic design tools (e.g. Canva) is a plus;
  • Fluency in English and French; good knowledge of other languages would be a plus.
