The Department of Transversal Translational Medicine (TTM) of the Luxembourg Institute of Health aims to foster biomedical and healthcare technology programmes by facilitating the ability of public and private stakeholders to work translationally, fostering national and international bed-to-bench-to-bed collaborations and thereby acting as a bridge from fundamental over clinical research into the real-world healthcare experience in integrated care networks. TTM represents and executes the translational medicine mission of the LIH by integrating clinical research into the bed-to-bench-to-bed cycle up to real world healthcare. It overlooks translational biomedical programmes across different diseases creating impact for patients and citizens, like the National Centre for Excellence in Research on Parkinson’s Disease (NCER-PD https://parkinson.lu) as well as innovative clinical trials.
The Programme Manager will be a core member of the Transversal Translational Medicine department. S/he will work closely with the Research and Strategy Specialist to give scientific advice, provide expertise to support translational, collaborative and multidisciplinary projects for fostering personalized medicine in the Luxembourgish ecosystem and abroad.
