Digital Marketing & Communication Officer


As part of the replacement of a maternity then parental leave, the LIH is seeking a Digital Marketing & Communication Officer primarily responsible for social media and community management. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our online presence, driving awareness, and increasing visibility for the institute.

Key Accountabilities

Community Management

  • Design, build and maintain the social media presence in line with the Marketing & communication (M&C) strategy
  • Monitor and report on the institute’s online reputation
  • Measure and report performance of community management activities against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Develop an influencer network to increase social media visibility
  • Promote and evangelize community activities internally. 
  • Develop and maintain community training resources, guidelines, and policies
  • Train staff on how to participate and engage in the community.

Digital marketing & communication

  • Develop and implement digital M&C campaigns, including Web, SEO/SEM, display and social media advertising 
  • Contribute to the digital M&C strategy and plans
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance based on these insights

Web management

  • Maintain the functionality, appearance and accuracy of the institute’s Web platform and websites
  • Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvements in responsiveness and SEO 
  • Collect and analyze Web metrics, identify appropriate KPIs and provide regular tracking and reporting 
  • Contribute to Web-related projects (Newsletter dissemination, digital internal communications,…).

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital M&C
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in in social media management, Web management, and digital M&C
  • Excellent command of digital marketing communication tools and applications 
  • Proficiency in English (Excellent oral and written command)
  • Knowledge of French, German, and Luxembourgish is an asset
  • Strong ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
  • Adaptable and flexible with good time‐management and organisation skills
