Chercheurs à l’école: Catherine introduces school students to her research

Within the framework of “Chercheurs à l’école – Researchers back to school” organized by the FNR, Catherine took the chance to interact with and inspire the next generation of scientists in Luxembourg. She thus presented her science to school students in their 3^rd year of secondary school at the Lycée classique de Diekirch. In her presentation, she gave an overview of cancer in general, its different types and which environmental and daily influences can cause the development of cancer. Besides this very scientific information, she also took the opportunity to introduce the pupils to the daily laboratory work, how a normal working day looks like and how she is working together with other researchers. At the end of her presentation, the audience could ask questions and thanked Catherine for an interesting presentation.
