National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Keynote

Dr Sophie Pilleron was a keynote speaker at the NCCN conference Global Cancer Care in Older Adults: Improving Access to High-Quality Cancer Care for an Aging World, with a talk entitled “Managing Increased Cancer Burden: Using Big Data and Post-Approval Information to Better Manage Drug Reactions”. The recording of her talk will be released soon, so follow our updates closely to have a chance to watch it.

Additionally, she will also be chairing a symposium on Mental Health Care for Older Adults with Cancer.

Meet the Team

We hope you have enjoyed getting to know us a bit better. It is now time to meet another member of our team, our Master’s student intern Fei Liu!

Master’s Intern Fei Liu

Hi, I am from China and am delighted to work on a six-month internship at ACADI. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in psychology at University of Luxembourg. As my master’s dissertation is conducting a systematic review, I am eager to gain academic knowledge from the experts—a big thanks to Dr. Sophie Pilleron and Dr. India Pinker for giving me this opportunity to join our team.

During my internship, I am working on a scoping review focusing on online social support for older adults with cancer. This project has significantly broadened my understanding of the challenges faced by this group, and inspired me to make a meaningful difference. Although this internship is drawing to a close, my research journey won’t end, as I‘ve acquired invaluable research skills and continue to develop my critical thinking and scientific storytelling abilities. With the guidance of our team, I will continue to learn and contribute.

Many thanks for this enriching experience!

Fei Liu

Until next time, keep well!
