The festive season is here and so is our last newsletter of the year! We have a few updates to share.
Dr Sophie Pilleron and Dr India Pinker attended the first installment of Public and Patient Involvement Training at LIH, provided by partners at the European Patients’ Academy (EUPATI, https://eupati.eu/). We look forward to implementing more of this guidance in our work, co-creating research with patients and the public. Thank you to Sandrine Lavalle for organising this! We look forward to welcoming Dr Nicolò Battisti on the 25th of January 2024. Dr Battisti is the President of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and a Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in London, United Kingdom. He will be giving a hybrid lecture entitled “Geriatric oncology: Moving the needle towards an evidence-based precision approach for older adults with cancer”.
