We are collecting tumours of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord tumours) to establish a national biobank in Luxembourg. Patient-donated tumour tissue is crucial for research as it allows us to identify novel biomarkers and develop innovative and personalised treatment strategies for patients. We also use them to create patient-derived preclinical models, which are used to accelerate drug development.
